Body Music and Great Weekend present, A Great Body with special guest DJ, The Twilite Tone

The Twilite Tone has been one of the best-known DJs in Chicago since the early 1990s, first gaining acclaim through his best-selling hip-hop mix CDs and production work with Chicago-born hip-hip legend Common. Since then, Tone has traveled the world with Common as his tour DJ, most recently on the Electric Circus Tour. Tone has also created quite a buzz with his electro-tinged production for Chicago soul singer Andreus, along with a recent CD for the Fader magazine's Suite 903 mix series showcasing the smash single "Something So Right", which was written and produced by and features disco-rappin' of The Twilite Tone. Following in the footsteps of his Aunt the legendary Chaka Khan, Tone has teamed up with a unique group of singers and songwriters to continue to breath life into The Boutique/Great Weekend vision by designing and recording music for the cutting edge underground soul world. As a producer, arranger, singer, songwriter, and solo artist, The Twilite Tone is a breath of fresh air to the music industry as we know it.

Look out for a new Great Weekend single entitled "How Do You Feel," coming this month on Studio/BBE off "Real Music for Real People." Also in July, catch with the legendary Tony Humphries in Rome, Italy.
