Shawn Ward - Bio
Vancouver's Shawn Ward is the latest house producer to join the ranks of Tiga's growing Turbo Recordings empire. With a sound sweeter than a dollop of honey on a Ben and Jerry's vanilla caramel fudge ice cream, Ward has been also been picked up by San Fran's uncompromising Tweekin' and Calgary's very much underground Penetrate. A classically trained pianist, Ward took inspiration from his Dad's extensive record collection, which featured everyone from Quincy Jones to Jimi Hendrix. Armed with a degree in music, he relocated to Mazatlan, Mexico for five years, where he wooed the locals at the city's various clubs and bars and at his own underground parties. It's fair to say that Ward singlehandedly created a house scene in this southern province.

Now back in Vancouver, Ward spends most of his time behind the production desk honing his unique house sound. His debut Turbo release, "Cruiseship," made it onto the second edition of Turbo Studio Sessions, alongside a who's who lineup listed below. Sublime keys are laid over deep rolling bass and wave upon wave of ethereal chords on a track that would mix well with Fred Everything, Morgan Page, and Jori Hulkkonen.

Deepce - Bio
In early 2004, Deepce toured SoCal/Mexico with fellow friend and DJ/Producer, Shawn Ward. They started in Los Angeles then south to San Diego, Tijuana, Ensenada, Mazatlan and Guadalajara. In April they met again for round 2 to play the infamous "Beat Soundz" Party in Ensenada along with DJ Rasoul.

Deepce sees not boundaries having residencies in both LA and Baja California. For the past 3 years he has been the man behind the "Beat Soundz" and the "Post Nu Year" parties just south of the border where he has hosted DJ Rasoul, DJ Buck, Hipp-e, Lawnchair Generals, Miguel Migs, and Halo to name a few. In LA he hosted "Shhh...Wednesdays" and "Sundaze @ Azul" who saw Sean Dimitrie, Shawn Ward, Pepe Mogt (Nortec Collective), Groove Junkies, Tony Watson, Liza Richardson and many more.

This time he meets Shawn again for an exclusive night in LA @ Body Music!
